My Role
My role on the project was to work with a second designer Courage Egbude in other to oversee the execution of the design process from research all the way to the low and high-fidelity designs. I was involved in the following:
Conducted extensive research into how other ride-hailing services like Uber & Bolt managed their drivers and passengers, collated the research in a document, and brainstormed with the stakeholders involved to decide the direction of the product for MVP
Supplied LoFi and Hifi designs based on research and available data
Worked mostly on the website and the admin dashboard while my partner worked on the mobile app
Ensured that styles and designs were consistent across the application
Collaborated with the stakeholders and the product manager to manage expectations while meeting the business needs

Existing ride-sharing platforms often face limitations in providing timely and affordable rides, leaving commuters stranded or burdened by high costs.
Oya Riyders aims to address this gap by offering a reliable, real-time deals model that ensures accessible, comfortable, and budget-friendly rides for every commuter.
